Miscellaneous December Pictures

New Year's in Parker!

The day after Christmas we loaded up the family, dropped grandma and grandpa off at the airport (because for some reason they wanted to fly rather than road trip with us ha ha), and went north to Parker to spend the week with Greg and Steph.   We were all looking forward to our time together and always have such a blast!
A little outing to the mall is always a fun time.  The girls love the Disney store there with it's castle and magic mirrors.
Bentley helps grandma with her iPad puzzles.
Karly learned to do manicures.  She did a pretty good job considering the fact that she's not even 3 yet.
We spent one day out at the trampoline park.  It was a bit crowded, but that didn't stop them from getting all their energy out.
Karly was doing great scooting herself out onto the  balance beam, until she reached about half way and started doubting her ability to make it.  I was trying to coach her on to finish what she started, all the while loving those cute expressions.
Then her best buddy Olive came to the rescue.  For the rest of the time Olive became Karly's personal helper to get her on to all the big slides and give her the encouragement to try new things.  It was sweet to watch.
I love that Olive is stretching her body as much as possible in order to give Karly the boost she needed to make it up that wall.  So cute.
When that got too hard, then Olive started reaching down from the top until they would grasp hands, and then she would pull with all her might.  Good teamwork girls.
The zipline at this place was a huge hit with all the kids.  It went fast and far.
Karly??  Has anyone seen Karly?
That evening we ate out at a mexican food place, complete with the live mariachis.
Then of course we had a lot of down time at the house for playing games, visiting, and relaxing.  Coda, Mason's dog, thinks he is a lap dog and tries to sit on people when they are on the couch.  Eden sure thought it was funny.

Grandpa found a quiet room to relax and read - then Karly found the keyboard and proceeded to sing and play all her original songs.  :)

Kaeli was so sweet to spend time with the girls doing crafts.  They sure love her.

Bentley was so happy for some hockey time with Griffin.

While there we got to celebrate Maddie's 8th birthday.  My kids love her and are always so excited to celebrate her birthday when we can be together.

That weekend we were able to attend Maddie's baptism. The kids were so excited for her, and loved her sweet testimony.  I felt so honored that she asked me to give the talk about baptism.  I sure love you Maddie!!

Then on our last night there, we were also able to do a little early birthday party for Griffin too, since his birthday is on the 3rd after everyone goes home. He is such an awesome kid and is so loving and sweet to my kids.  I'm grateful for him.

Then alas, it was time to go home and get our lives in order again to prepare for getting back into school.  It was a very fun week.  I'm so grateful for all the good times we were able to have with the Justice crew.  I'll be dreaming of the next time during my lovely roadtrip nap home.  Those car naps are the best.
Now bring on 2019!  It's going to be a great year!!
