The End of the Basketball Season

It has been so much fun watching Bentley play basketball this season. He has really put his heart into it, improved a ton, and really grown in confidence on the court. I'm proud of his efforts and disipline, and it's been so fun to watch him play!
Well done Bentley boy!

Leap Day Time Capsule!

Today is leap day! Brad had the awesome idea for each of us to create a small time capsule to hide away until next leap day. It will be so fun to see what treasures we all open up in four years, especially the kids who will have changed and grown so much over that time. Thanks Brad for your amazing and fun idea. I can't wait for the time to gather and open them up together. And what better treat to have while making these then brownies covered in "leap"ing frogs?! ha ha
And away it all goes! We will see what fun things people wrote, and the small treasures we find in four years!

Misc. Feb. Pics

Update on House and Pool Stuff

Lots of progress on the outside of the house this month. We got the front yard landscaping mostly finished, and the pool progress is coming along nicely!
They have also started digging out the holes for the trampolines. We have unfortunatley hit lava rock once again. Time again for the "chunk, chunk, chunk" sound to be the soundtrack of our lives. Good times!
We can't wait to finish the pool so we can then finish all the landscaping. It's going to be beautiful!

Eden's School Project

It's Edens turn to teach her class about Energy and Force. Olive and Bentley also got this topic and they used a Star Wars theme to teach about "the force". However, Eden wanted to keep hers a little more professional - she is in middle school after all.
Well done Eden! I love seeing you share your knowledge!

Brad's Bro Trip to Disneyland

The Star Wars land at Disneyland recently opened and Brad and his game night buddies all planned a trip to fly out together and experience the magic. I was grateful this group was able to go because Brad was dying to see it all, but I was not excited about going upon opening and the huge, huge crowds it was gathering. Thanks game night friends! To say Brad was excited is an understatement. This man loves Disneyland, and how cool to go experience it with friends! Especially Spencer Morgan who is also a huge Disneyland fan. Brad did a great job at taking lots of pics and he sent them frequently in a group chat to all the wives at home. We could tell they were having an absolute blast.
They were joined one day by Spencer's parents and brother and sister in law. You will notice her in some of the pics. I feel the need to clarify that so in some future years we aren't all wondering about this random girl who joined their group and is sitting by Spencer in many of the pictures. ha ha
They even brought along a favorite Star Wars game to play while in Star Wars land, while also drinking blue milk.
Well done on the pictures fellas - now I feel like we have all experienced Star Wars land. And just as a random side note - Olive was VERY sad when Brad left. She had to sleep in his t-shirt each night and that helped her to feel better.
