Eden brought home a paper from school talking about having a holiday party where they would be making gingerbread houses and parents were invited to come help their child. I said, "Ooohh that sounds so fun! I can't wait." and she very sweetly replied.... "ummm, actually I was hoping daddy could come." Awe, bummer for me! But so cute that she wanted to share this with her dad. He rearranged some meetings and was able to make a house with her and see her classroom. She was so excited.

She was so proud to have me come to her class and see where she sits. I love having the flexibility to go to this kind of stuff.
