For a really long time now I've gone back and forth about whether or not our blog needed to be private but I never actually pulled the trigger and made the change. I hate the inconvenience it creates for family and friends who want to follow what's going on, but unfortunately it's time for us to go private. I have a site meter on our blog and there are too many views from people we don't know here in NM and in states that we have no connection to.
If you would like to continue to follow our blog I will need to send you an invite via email so you can be allowed to sign in and see our blog. Leave your email address in the comments here, or you can send me an email at lisaprivateblog@gmail.com and I will send you an invite.

Sign me up!! I know what you mean about the sitemeter. We were noticing that too, plus it just felt weird to know that maybe, just maybe someone had a picture of my child somewhere or was looking at their faces. I don't mind if I know them or they know someone that knows them, but when there is no connection, it gets a little creepy. :)
Don't feel bad about going private. What really matters is what you think is right for your family! Your friends and family you are closest to will still check your blog-private or not. :)
