We have experienced a lot of turtles over the past couple years - we now have 12, and they do have their own little personalities. Scar is the one we got recently from grandma and grandpa. They found this guy roaming their backyard, and judging by the beat up state of his shell, he has obviously been through a lot. My guess is though that he has never been hand fed worms before, and he now knows where the bucket of worms is kept in the backyard.
My guess is he likes those worms, a lot, because this turtle is an aggressive one, something we haven't seen in a turtle before. We will be sitting out in the back yard and he will come at us, then will turn and walk to the bucket of worms. It is seriously so crazy - a turtle, baiting us to get to the worm box and feed him! It's a little creepy actually.
Watch out! Scar is sneaking up behind you!

He comes at you quickly, right up to your toes and it always makes me nervous he will actually go for one of those if we don't get him a worm instead!
If we aren't outside, but the door is open, Scar hears us and is now coming up to the backdoor.
The other day we were all outside playing and then I came in with Olive to help her go potty. We rounded the corner to go back outside and Scar had actually followed us into the house!
Seriously, this guy is intense. If I believed in reincarnation.....
As long as the rest of the turtles continue acting like turtles, we will be ok. Otherwise, we could have an intense revolt on our hands.
