Turtles, turtles, and more turtles...

We love our turtles around here - some of us a little more than others, but they do make the best pet around that's for sure! We now have 10 and Brad is really hoping for some babies to hatch at least by next year. Our yard will soon be overrun.  Each turtle has been "branded" with nail polish somewhere on it's shell so we can tell them apart.  Here's who we've got now:
Beauty
Beast
Snow White
Grumpy
Anna
Kristoff
Elsa
Boba Fet
Padme
Leia
And they all love worms......

Garage Sale Treasures

I was out one Saturday morning, so Brad and the kids thought it was the perfect opportunity to go find treasures at garage sales, and boy did they find a lot! Here's the pile of loot they collected throughout the neighborhood - games, beads, books, toys, backpack, helmet, etc.
Bentley instantly fell in love with the Spiderman backpack, which also happens to be his first backpack and the coolest thing ever.
They had a lot of good laughs over this new monkey shooting game.
He was still wearing his backpack when it was time to brush teeth and go to bed! Good times for sure.

Pottery Class Double Date

For a fun and different date night, the Mays joined us for a pottery class a few weeks ago. It really ended up being such a good time! We had so many good laughs as we tried to figure out what in the world we were doing to finish our very simple projects. Apparently there's a lot more to it so that it doesn't crack when it's being "cooked". We had a blast.

Here's our finished products... the bowl and flower pot thing were our first ones, and then the turtle dishes were our second attempts. Brad now has them out back for the turtles to enjoy. :)

It was fun, and I'm grateful for new experiences together.
