Playing in the Leaves

The kids were all outside playing and then I noticed Eden "raking" the leaves up with a broom. Needless to say, she wasn't able to make much of a pile, but her and Olivia had a lot of fun in the little mound she did create.  I love watching my kids play together. Siblings really are the best.
Notice Olivia is out there in princess slippers...

Winter parka... snow boots... and shorts.... Nice combo my boy!

The Polar Express

After such a fun and magical experience at the Polar Express in Durango last year, we knew we had to go again and we definitely didn't want to go alone, so this year we were able to convince three other families and their kids to join us and we had an absolute blast!

The Monday before leaving for Durango, we hosted a special family night at our house. A couple days before, I mailed golden tickets and invitations to each of the kids to come over in their jammies, have hot cocoa, and then use their golden ticket to get into the movie room to watch "The Polar Express".  It was a huge hit and the kids had so much fun.
The Justice kids, the May kids, the Jackson kids, the Divett kids and the Haslam kids. Unfortunately, the Jackson's couldn't make it to Durango with us, but they still came to our FHE which was very fun.
Brad did a great job at punching all the golden tickets before they went into the movie. The kids were absolutely giddy.

Then on Thursday afternoon, the Haslam family and our family headed out to Durango.  The Mays and the Divetts would be joining us the following day.

The kids couldn't wait to get into the pool and hot tub. We had so much fun.

Friday evening was our ride on the Polar Express. First we walked down to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and let the kids pick out a treat.

So many delicious things to choose from! Bentley and Eden both ended up picking marshmallows covered in chocolate (for Bentley) and oreos (for Eden).

Shocking! She is actually looking at the camera! This girl is so hard to photograph.  Also, she was very mad about the jammies I brought for her so she wore regular clothes and the rest of the kids wore PJs.  ha ha She is so stinkin' cute though...

Olive didn't dare go near this bear, but the other two were eager to get their picture taken with him.

Getting ready to go board the train!

Our amazing group of friends and the bounteous amount of children. (As a side note, three out of these four moms are pregnant too ha ha)

Not sure why he was making this face. He was very happy and excited to be there.

We were really close to the platform this year so we were able to see the show really good.
Olive wasn't sure what to think about all the hustle and bustle. She was a little nervous for sure.
On one side of the train was our family with the Divetts behind us.
Then across form us was the Haslam family with the Mays behind them. It was so much fun. The kids all fed off of each others excited energy.

After the ride was through, we were able to gather the majority of the kids for a picture. It was like wrangling sheep though so I think there are still a couple missing in this picture.

Overall, it was such a fun weekend. We had a blast cruising the town, swimming in the hotel, and on the Polar Express. The weather was still nice too so nobody froze which was good. We are so grateful for fun adventures like these and our fun friends to experience them with us!

A Picture with the Star of the Show

Eden and a couple of her friends dressed up and put on a big dancing and singing show for me. I was a wonderful audience, I assure you. At the end of the show, they said "would anyone out there like to take a picture with the star of the show?" So of course I couldn't pass up that opportunity. What a cute star she is too.  :)

Baby Girl - 31 weeks, 6 days

Before heading out on our weekend adventure, I had to fit in one more quick appointment to check on how everything with the pregnancy is going. The pictures are always the part to look forward to!
In this one her nose really reminds me of Eden and Olivia's. And look at those precious lips!
Starting to open her mouth.
Sticking her tongue out!
Cute little hand holding her cheek.

I love these 3D ultrasounds every couple of weeks. It's so fun to see her growing and starting to show a little personality too. We can't wait to hold her and see her in person!

Serious Love for Games in This House

My sweet hubby loves games more than anyone I know - except maybe now Bentley ha!  Brad starts them young around here - even Olive is getting in on the action now! I absolutely LOVE this time spent together, and am so grateful for Brad that he takes this time with our kids so often. In fact, as I write this now, I can hear them at the kitchen table playing something, and I know they have been going through one game after the other for about two hours now. Not only are they getting amazing quality time, but the skills they are learning from games is so good for them!
Thanks Brad - You're the bomb daddy-o.

Cute Bentley

I don't know why stuff like this is so cute and sentimental to me, but when I randomly come across something like this - I have to capture it. This is such a funny little glimpse into Bentley. I love it.
