Miscellaneous October Photos

I made each of the kids a new Halloween pillowcase. They were very excited.

Goyle - our Halloween gargoyle friend is back.

The trampoline makes a great outdoor play area for Karly. I just zip her in there and throw a few toys in there and she is happy as can be. Even her tiny little hairs stick up. So cute.

Eden still enjoys her appointments. Everyone adores her sweet personality.

Eden is such a sweet big sister. She loves to be a teacher, and she is lucky to have a brother who is equally sweet who loves to be a student. They are such a cute mix.
Olive was trying to walk around while holding her shoelaces. She refused to let go, so it took us a while to get from the car into the house. She giggled the whole time.
Bentley leaves very cute little love notes for me to find. Melts my heart.

Halloween!

The kids were given a choice of what they wanted to be for Halloween this year.
Eden - rock star
Bentley - ghost
Olive - clown
Karly - Snow White

Eden was very excited to go on a "date" with me to Savers to pick out the items for her costume. She was so thrilled, especially about wearing makeup with it.
Bentley was a very cute ghost, however it didn't take him long to realize that this costume was actually quite annoying. At the ward trunk or treat party, a few days before Halloween, he kept tripping over it, and he really struggled to see out once it started to get dark. He wore it that night, but decided he would choose a costume he had at home for Halloween night.
Olive was the cutest little clown ever. This costume was perfect for her.  :)

Karly didn't really have to wear the wig, but we tried it for a moment and she was totally weirded out by it.  Once that scary thing came off, she was a very beautiful and sweet Snow White.

With the ward trunk or treat party, Bentley's preschool Halloween party, Eden's ballet Halloween party, and then actual Halloween - we were all costumed out by the time it was over. The kids had so much fun and ended up with TONS of candy.

Here is the completed halloween bag that Eden designed and sewed all by herself. She was so excited about her completed project.

When Halloween night finally rolled around, the kids were so excited to go trick-or-treating. We had to hold them off a bit so while they waited to go out, they watched Disney's Halloween Treat.

Brad stayed home to pass out candy, and I went around the neighborhood with the kids. I love this party. They are so giddy and excited and it's so much fun.
Karly was content as ever to go on a very long walk and soak it all in.
Once we got home, the kids were so excited to check out all their goodies!
Karly ended up getting some sweet tastes through the wrapper of some of them.

It was a great night for all!  Holidays are so much fun with little ones.

Karly Rose - 9 months!

9 months old?!  Crazy!!

Here are her 9 month stats:

2 FT 3 IN  --  47th percentile
17.25 LBS -- 25th percentile
Head -- 96th percentile

As usual, her little photo shoot garnered way too many cute ones. She is so happy, and so funny!

As you can see, she is so smiley!  She loves to make funny faces, and thinks everything we do is totally awesome. She is so expressive and I love it. We totally adore her.
She is now completely on bottles. Nursing was rough and neither of us were patient enough to keep trying. She seems much more content and full now.

--  Still just two bottom teeth!

--  She loves to pull my hair, and Eden's hair.

-- She is pulling herself up to standing along things now.

She babbles a ton and it's so cute. Especially in the car, she just talks and talks and talks. I love it so much.   She makes the cutest little noises, and is now saying, "mmmmmmm-ma" over and over again.
She's not too much of a fan of this jumper. Possibly because her siblings won't leave her alone in there and it turns into quite a hectic ride/swing.
It's getting colder now so she is rarely just in a diaper. I love seeing her cute little body though.

She is crawling like crazy now and a whole new world of exploration has been opened to her. She wonders around constantly and finds all kinds of interesting things.

Oh yeah, and since discovering the dog food, she also says, "Uh oh".
The door stoppers make the most interesting sound. She loves discovering these!
She is so much fun!!  We love her to pieces.
