I love watching them wrestle and roll around together. It begins and ends with smiles..... most of the time. :)

Eden's Homemade Pie
Eden's interest in cooking and baking has really skyrocketed lately. She likes to check out cookbooks from the library and look through recipes. She loves to help me make dinner each night, and is always willing to make muffins, or cupcakes, or any treats any time I offer up the kitchen. The other day she came across a recipe for apple pie that she was dying to try so I let her go for it. We ended up just using canned pie filling to save on some time, but she made the crust from scratch and was so proud of how her pie turned out.
She rolled her crust out on the counter, but it was pretty crumbly so she couldn't pick it up without it falling apart. She adapted quickly though and just very delicately placed the pieces all over the top of the pie to cover up the filling. She was so cute, and took her job very seriously.
She was very excited about how it turned out and was pretty proud of her first pie. Bentley agreed that it was yummy and was very encouraging to her. They are the cutest.
Girls Trip to Utah
Last summer, my great friend Anita May moved to Utah, and I miss her tons! It was such a pleasant surprise when her husband called last week and said he would pay to fly me up to Utah for the weekend to celebrate Anita's birthday with her. I was very tempted to leave Karly behind, but figured I better not overwhelm Brad if I ever want to take another girl's trip again. :) So Karly was the lucky one who got to go on the little getaway with me. Brad and the other three kids were looking forward to have one huge party all weekend while mom was away.
--Rochelle Divett and her baby Aubrey also came so it was fun to have someone to travel with.
--We had a layover in Phoenix, but despite having to take two flights, both babies did great.
-- Karly loves taking selfies right now. The moment she sees herself she gives the cutest smile. It's the best!
-- Anita had no idea we were coming so we were so anxious and excited to surprise her. She had been told that Steven was taking her on an overnight trip somewhere so she had her bags packed and was expecting to leave. Needless to say, she was shocked when they pulled up and she saw us. It was so much fun.
-- We went out to eat a lot, spent one day at the outlets in Park City for some shopping, played games, and just hung out together like old times. It was a really fun weekend.
-- We even had time to go to Sacrament meeting together before we had to leave for the airport.
--The weekend flew by way too quickly, but we had so much fun. Karly was a good travel buddy, for the most part.
-- I think the kids were way more excited to be reunited with Karly than they were with me. It was very cute.
-- And it turns out, they had quite the party all weekend while we were away. Brad discovered that they LOVED Golden Corral, and thought that was the best restaurant they have ever been too. They had a fun weekend together and it was a win-win for everyone!

2nd Grade - Fall School Picture
I adore this girl... She is growing up so fast! She is so beautiful, and has such a kind soul. I don't know what I would do without my Eden.

Just me and my boy...
I love this little guy so much, and in so many ways he reminds me of his daddy, someone I also happen to adore. I sure got lucky with my boys....
