Karly and Bentley
These two have such a unique bond. It's like they knew each other well before coming to our family, and their little souls just instantly connected again. They have always had an extra tender and sweet dynamic between them. She doesn't even really communicate much yet, but they don't need any words. It's so sweet.
The Pickiest Eater Yet!
I don't know how she is surviving. This girl eats very little. Not only does she not like to eat most everything, she has such a stubborn streak when it comes to food and she won't even try it! So she survives off fruit, applesauce, yogurt, and peanut butter. That's it folks.
But she sure is cute and happy so I guess that's what matters.

Field Trip to the Chocolate Factory
Bentley's preschool class gets to go on a lot of fun field trips. We aren't always able to join them, but this time they were going to the chocolate factory so the girls and I joined him. Bentley was riding the bus over with his class and we beat them over there. When he came walking in Karly got started yelling "Bentme! Bentme!" and ran to hug him.
The kids were so excited to dip their pretzels in the bucket of chocolate, and then cover them with sprinkles. They devoured those pretty quickly once they dried.
It's been a fun year with Bentley being in this preschool. I also love that there are three other families from our ward with a kid in there so at all the field trips I get to hang out with my friends too! It's a win-win!

Painting Fingernails
Olive loves to get her fingernails painted and she asks for it often. Sometimes I think Bentley feels a little lonely so he will join us and quite often asks if he can do the painting. He is very careful and focused and does a pretty darn good job! Thanks Bentley boy! I'm glad that even though he is surrounded by girls, he figures out how to get involved. :)

General Conference Camping Out
With General Conference coming up, it was the perfect weekend to do something a little different and let the kids "camp" inside. We talked about the story of King Benjamin and the people pitching their tents to listen to him preach. We then talked all about General Conference and what we would be able to learn from the Prophet and the Apostles.
When it was time for conference, the kids did well and listened pretty good. Eden had a conference packet and was so cute taking notes and writing down who was speaking.
Then in between, and after conference, there was a lot of playing in the tent. They had fun having a couple sleepovers in there.

April Fool's Day
We decided this year that we would play a few little tricks on the kids for April Fool's. For Bentley and Olive, we froze their cereal the night before. Bentley was just really confused for a minute and didn't know how to respond when we laughed. Olive just got mad. She was hungry and it wasn't funny.
As for our girl Eden, she's such a heavy sleeper that I thought waking up to find some body art might be fun. It took her a while before she noticed the first thing written on her arm, then she went crazy searching her body for all the places I drew. She laughed and thought it was fun.
Happy April Fool's Day!
