Aquarium with Grandma

Now that the big kids are back in school, I'm left with only two littles to take on adventures.  The Aquarium is always a big hit, and we especially love it when grandma can join us!
We had the place to ourselves.  Grandma and I sat on the bench on the back wall, and Olive used the huge tank as the backdrop for a very creative dance routine.  She is so much fun.

Bentley Loses a Tooth

Nothing makes this little guy more anxious than thinking a parent is going to pull out his tooth!  It literally drives Bentley to tears when we say we want to take a look and give it a wiggle.  This tooth was  barly holding on by a tiny thread but Bentley refused to pull it or let us pull it out.

So Brad got a good look, but Bentley would not give permission for him to give it a little tug.  Any time Bentley opened his mouth to talk though, that tooth was flapping so it was bound to come out!
Later that night at dinner, out came the tooth all on it's own!  :)  Bentley was very relieved.
Eden is the opposite of Bentley.  The second she feels a tooth with the slightests bit of wiggle, she wiggles that thing relentlessly and eventually pulls it out - most times on the same day!

On this day of Bentley's tooth giving up and letting go, Eden forced one of her own to come out.  The tooth fairy was busy that night!

Karly and Eliza Pickett

These cute friends are almost 2 years old!  It's so fun watching them grow up together.  They are cute little buddies - most of the time.  :)

A Kiss from an Alpaca

And after kissing the alpacas, we watched the pigs eat the leftover birthday cake.  Visiting our friends' farm is so much fun!

Bentley the Lego King

Bentley got some cool Lego kits for Christmas and he has some seriously good skills at putting these things together without any help.  I'm pretty impressed with this 5 year old!

A Walk in the Woods

We are enjoying a little more free time before school starts back up again.  We decided a little walk through the Bosque with grandma and grandpa sounded fun.  We love being outside, and the weather has been so nice!

Grandpa widdled everyone a walking stick.

The huge cement tunnels were a huge hit.

I love being outside in nature, enjoying the sun and away from all the noise of the world.  I sure love this family of mine!
