Karly stole my socks

"Mom, notice anything different about me?"  I said no, so she raised her leg high and said, "How about now?"    Nice socks Karly.  You're so silly.

Olive's Crazy Hair Day

Olive got to have crazy hair day at school and she couldn't wait.  She gave me the instructions of just how she wanted it, and I think I met her expectations.  The crazier the better as far as Olive is concerned!
This girl has spunk! I lover her.

Mama and Baby Crow

Karly is my little yoga buddy.  She cheers me on, and supports me all along the way.

"Look mom! I can do a headstand too!"

Why I do the Blog Books

Keeping up on this blog is a lot of time and commitment.  Sometimes I really struggle to keep up and find the motivation to use what little free time I have here, but capturing our day to day life, and little memories along the way for these kids is the reason I do it.  I see them grab these books and read them quite often.  They laugh and retell stories and share memories that they had forgotten.  It makes it all worth it.

Home Depot Workshop

The first Saturday of the month is workshop month at the Home Depot and today we went and the kids got to build and paint a valentine box.  They loved it and can't wait to go back.
It was a little hectic helping them hammer in all their nails but we made it through.  Good teamwork Brad!

Sister Slumber Party

The girls decided they wanted to have a slumber party.  Bentley was invited, but he thought staying in his own bed sounded better.  They spent the evening bringing in lots of toys and setting things up just right.  When it came time for bedtime, I heard Eden being silly and making the girls laugh.  I love this, and remember a few sleepovers like these in my sister's room.
They were so cute and cozy all together in Eden's bed.  The next morning, Eden decided she loved the pre-bedtime fun, but she'd really rather not share her bed in the future ha ha
