A Costco Advertisement...

This picture deserves it's own post because it's so adorable! These kids should be in a Costco Ad. :)

Sleeping kids...

Watching my kids sleep is one of my favorite things. They are just so precious and as I watch them, I can't help but feel so grateful for the blessings that they are! Eden is pretty much done with naps these days though, (SAD!) but every few days it still catches up to her and she just can't hang on!

This looks cozy, right?! This girl sleeps through anything!

I love my babies!

Christmas and New Years!

We had such a fun Christmas and New Year's this year! Greg, Steph and their kids came and stayed with us for about ten days and though we hardly left the house, it was so much fun!! I figured we would get stir crazy and would need to find things to go out and do once Christmas was over, but that wasn't the case. We spent a lot of time just hanging out at home and it was great. We loved having them here with us. I took tons of pictures so this post will be huge, but I want to capture and remember all the fun we had!

We played tons of games, ate lots of good food, and the kids did some fun crafts. Stephanie and I also learned how to make hair bows for the girls, so when we got the chance, we had tons of fun making some cute new hair accessories for our girls!

Just as a side note, Eden is still in a crazy, weird phase where she looks anywhere but at the camera and makes weird faces so that's pretty much what all her pictures look like. Though it's frustrating to me now, someday it will be funny to look back at this time in her life and see how silly her personality is.

That heap under the blanket is Brad. He chose a very strange place for a nap, but it worked! He didn't get tackled by kids or dogs.

We all made gingerbread houses.

Tudah the elf had a few more tricks up his sleeve before his return to the North Pole on Christmas Eve.

Eden was really excited to finally put the last piece on the advent calendar Christmas tree.

On Christmas Eve the kids got new PJs. Eden was super excited about her Snow White nightgown and insists she should wear it every night. Then the little kids wrote their letters to Santa and left some cookies out for him. Griffin was so sweet and left Santa his whole gingerbread house! Lucky Santa...

Christmas morning was so much fun. Bentley was up at 5 am so I had lots of time hanging out in my bathroom to keep from waking everyone else up. The good news?? I had plenty of time to shower and put on some makeup so I was looking ok. :) Once the other kids started to stir, the party started though! We had to wake Eden up... she was sleeping soundly!
We got the traditional pictures on the stairs first and then let the kids come down and discover what Santa had left for them. The kids scored big time! I was so excited for them to see what they got.

After everyone had thoroughly enjoyed their Santa piles, we had a huge breakfast: french toast casserole, eggs, bacon, and sausage. It was delicious! We finished breakfast, moved all the presents from under the tree into the family room and then the madness began!

Once the presents were all opened, we spent the next couple hours enjoying all the new toys. Eden was excited to go outside and ride her new scooter. She just had to pack on all her new princess gear first!

Then we had a delicious Christmas dinner with a glazed ham and all kinds of side dishes. It was so good, and I'm so grateful Stephanie was there to help out so much!

Over the course of the next few days, we just did a whole lot of playing!

Not the typical Barbie "pretend play," but this is a game Eden loves.

At one point I overheard Eden singing and playing with her dolls so I had to eavesdrop. She had her baby "Dora" on a manger and she was singing "Away in a Manger". So cute.

On the 29th we got to celebrate Madelyn's 2nd birthday with her. She is so adorable, and such a sweet girl! I'm glad we were able to spend her birthday with her.

On New Year's eve we woke up to just a tiny bit of snow. The girls were excited to bundle up and go out and play.

And we finished our celebrations with our New Year's traditions of creating our "vision boards" or goals for the year, and then had a delicious fondue dinner.

It was such a great time! Thank you Justice family for coming and celebrating the holidays with us! We are so grateful for family and this amazing year with the perfect celebrations to wrap it up! Happy New Year!!
