Today in his primary class Bentley learned about prayer. His teacher had given them each a handful of cards and asked them to write things they pray for. Bentley brought these home and as I was looking through them I was so touched by his heartfelt and outward focused thoughts. He has such a mature soul, and such a sweet heart for his sisters. I sure love him so so much and thank Heavenly Father for him every day.
Here are the things he wrote on his prayer cards:
I thank thee for:
- Teachings of the people and prophets
- Helping Olive not suck her fingers
- Helping me to be smart
- Helping me read
I ask thee/please bless:
- That we will help my sisters when we get home
- That Karly won't pee or poop in her pants
- That we won't be sad.
- That Karly and Olive will have their owies taken away
- That Olive will color in the lines.

Sleeping Babies
Every night before I go to bed, I creep into each of the kid bedrooms and get one last look at my sleeping babies. They are so peaceful and cute.
Karly and Eden are currently sharing a room and it's working out nicely. Eden is a very deep sleeper so she can sleep through Karly's mid night hollers. I almost woke her when my flash went off for this picture though - you can see her scowling just a bit. I sure love this girl.

And Karly, looking precious with that binky. Why is she growing up so fast?!

St. Patrick's Day Party
After soccer we decided to attend the big St. Patrick's day party happening at the Balloon museum. It turned out to be such a fun adventure! The kids were so excited about all the different activities going on, and the weather was beautiful so it was a great way to spend the day outside.
The kids all sat so still while they got their faces painted. They also loved watching the process and stood very close to make sure they didn't miss a thing!
This was the first time the kids tried a rock climbing wall and they did awesome! Eden and Bentley apparently have no trouble with heights. They were so cute to watch.
Olive really wanted to try the rock climbing, but she was much more nervous about it. She kept leaving to the other activities, and then coming back and watching for a while. Her cute brother was giving her an encouraging pep talk and she finally decided to try it.
She didn't make it up too much higher then this, but I was so proud of her for trying something new even though she was really nervous.
We ate lunch from the food trucks and then did some dancing to the music the DJ was playing. I love that they will all join in with me.
After we had our fill of the party activities outside, we did a quick tour through the balloon museum and then headed home to rest. It was such a fun adventure!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

St. Patrick's Preschool Party
Olive had such a fun day at preschool celebrating St. Patrick's day. She loved the excitement of building a leprechaun trap and eating only green things. She is convinced that she will be able to catch us a leprechaun this weekend, and "we can keep it like a pet!" She's at such a fun age for holidays.
While Olive was busy partying, Karly and I were having a party of our own at Costco. She is also very fun to hang out with. :)

Olive turns 4!
Olive couldn't have asked for a better start to her birthday then to go to school where she is given lots of attention from her favorite teacher Ms. Brittany and all her friends. She was the happiest little thing!
They did lots of birthday activities that day and Olive was giddy the entire time.
After school we got to meet up with daddy for lunch and she chose pizza at Dion's.
After lunch she got to go on a special outing with daddy to pick out something from Toy's R Us with the birthday money from grandma and grandpa Justice. Seriously, this girl was in heaven all day long. It was one amazing thing after another, and she let us know it! She was so happy.
And if that wasn't already enough, she also had requested bowling with grandma and grandpa so after the big kids were done at school, we headed over to the bowling alley. She had to take a little rest in the car because this awesome birthday was wearing her out!
Olive is a major daddy's girl. He has always been her favorite, and he knows just what to do to make her feel secure and loved.
That evening we had a pink pony cake, just like she wished for. We sang, opened presents and measured how much she has grown. She had the cutest smile all night long.
She was so sweet and even let Karly help her open a present.
We finally made Karly stop though because she was opening them faster then Olive could. Then the tantrum ensued, as seen in the picture below.
The most favorite present was this big princess treasure box/vanity. She got lots of sparkly hair accessories, and lip gloss. There were lots of makeovers that happened that night.
Olive always has impressive growth. This girl is growing fast!
It was a very successful day for this new 4 year old. All her birthday wishes came true and she slept solidly that night. She made it such a fun and enjoyable day for everyone. Happy birthday Lolly Pop! We love you!

Grandma and grandpa Malarsie were there too - I'm just not sure why we didn't end up with any pictures of them!

Spring Soccer - Black Shadows
I LOVE watching this boy play soccer. He is little and fast and really coordinated! I am watching him develop a skill and gain confidence in something and it is amazing to see. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this little athlete.
P.S. is he not the cutest guy ever?!
Go Black Shadows!

Fun in the Dirt Hills
We went for a walk out on the mesa and stumbled upon rows of dirt piles that had been dumped. The kids were in heaven! Who knew that piles and piles of dirt could be so entertaining for so long. They played and explored for a long time. It was a beautiful day, and I loved just feeling the joy of slowing down and watching them enjoy life. It truly is the simple things in life that matter most.
