Swimming at the Aquatic Center

After spending a day playing in snow, what's better than getting all the swim gear and going to the pool?!  It was so much fun to have the Hardings, and grandma and grandpa come join us for a fun day of swimming at the aquatic center.  I told the kids the plan about two hours before the actual departure time and they were so excited.  They insisted they needed to get swim suits and floaties on so they would be ready.  Then it became a really long wait until it was time to go.  I eventually had to turn on a cartoon so they would be distracted and stop causing trouble.  :)

--  The water was a little colder than we were expecting.  After a while, the kids lips were a little purple, but for most of them, the cold didn't seem to phase them one bit!  Bentley ended up finding a warm jet on the bottom of the pool and he wouldn't move from that spot until it was time to go.
-- Olive and London are such cute little buddies. They played really good together, and followed each other around the pool and down the little slide.
-- The longer we stayed in the water, the more clingy Karly got.  Poor baby was freezing I think.  She played for a long time, but when it was time to get wrapped up in the towel she was very happy.

It was such a fun day! Now if only they would heat it a little better, they would probably gain our business very often!  The kids had a blast.  Thanks family for joining us!

Bentley found a hot spot in there about half way through and didn't move off it for the rest of the time. Smart boy.

Cold was not going to stop me from having fun with the grandkids.
