Service at the Post Office

There is a city wide food drive where people can leave food out at their mailbox and the mail carriers collect it, and it gets dispersed to families and organizations throughout the city.  Bentley, Eden and I were able to participate in the service project this year by helping to sort the food when the mail carriers brought it all back to the post office.  It was such a fun opportunity to serve!  We were there for a few hours and the trucks would come and we would help unload them, then sort the food into the right categories in the big brown boxes.  Eden was in heaven doing all this organizing.  Once we would get a load all sorted, she would take all the empty white boxes and get them all lined up and straight, ready for the next load to come in.  While waiting in between loads, they were able to play and visit with some new friends we met. It was a great day!

While we were away, Karly took a nap and Olive got some special one on one time with daddy.  Looks like they chose to spend their time playing lots of games!
