Haslam Kids for the Weekend

Vince and Erin left town for the weekend to run a marathon and we got their kids! To say my kids were thrilled is a complete understatement. Having 8 kids under 11 sounds like a bit of a nightmare, but really, having these kids together is like a dream. They each have their buddy and they disappear into their games throughout the house and yard. It's a beautiful thing.

It also happened to be General Conference weekend and most the kids were nowhere to be found. However, Bentley and Molly sat through a lot of it with us, Molly with her journal and Bentley with an activity book. These two are so funny and cute together.

There was also another wedding - Karly and Jude. The older kids really get a kick out of playing wedding with these two, and Karly and Jude go right along with it!

Staying up late with sleepovers can be quite exhausting for all. Karly came and sat down for conference for a bit. Before long, she was nodding off and was so cute bobbing her head. When she reazlied we were all watching her, she got mad and shoved herself under the pillows and then really enjoyed a nice nap, tucked in tight.

Thank you Haslams for a great weekend of fun! And as a sidenote, Erin and Vince did amazing in their marathon and have both qualified for Boston! Well done you two!
