Disney World!

Our cruise was leaving from Port Canaveral, which isn't too far from Orlando, so we figured that since we were so close that we'd go out a couple days early and visit Disney World. It was almost exactly like Disney Land, so Brad had the place memorized and we were able to whip around there and get into quick lines for all the rides. Way to be a planner Brad!
..

They don't look happy to be in the happiest place in the world! But they just weren't excited for the picture because they were very excited to be there!
..

We went on splash mountain, expecting to get splashed - but we weren't expecting a full shower! We got drenched on that thing!
..

I think poor Kirma got the worst of it. Thanks for taking it for the team!

..

What a cute husband I have!

..

I'm not sure what his look means, but I liked it!

..

Cruisin' Away!

We had a few days at sea, in between stopping at the ports and we always found plenty to keep us entertained. We had a great time - seven days wasn't quite long enough!
..

Just posing while we're waiting for our dinner!
..

Barry was so tired that he actually started falling asleep right there at dinner!

..

He always saved his energy for the dance floor though!
..

Like father, like son....

..

UNO! We played a lot of card games while we waited for shows to begin.
..

Bahamas!

Welcome to the Bahamas! This was the first port on the cruise and we were excited to get off the boat and start our exploring! We didn't do any excursions here, but instead we just did a little shopping down the main strip, and then hung out on the beach. It was a fun day!
..

And suddenly, we became crazy....
..

The first of many beach poses for the camera!
..

This was the day I discovered another of Brad's many talents - crab catching! I was shocked at how quickly he snatched up this little guy, and he didn't even get pinched! Good moves Brad!

..

Nice tan huh?! And here's the sad thing, after several more days, it didn't even get any better! Oh well...

Anybody hungry?

One thing that there's never a shortage of on a cruise, is food! It seems like we spent the majority of our time eating, but we just couldn't help ourselves! Everything was just so good!
..

Cool ice sculpture, huh?!
..

Take a close look at this and you'll see that the bird picture is actually carved out of a real turkey! Crazy!

..

There was always fresh fruit in abundance and that kept Brad happy!
..

Mmmmm.... chocolate!

..

Cheese or broccoli anyone?

..

St. Thomas, Virgin Islands!

St. Thomas was by far the prettiest, most "post card picture perfect" place we visited! Because this island is US territory, it was very "Americanized."
..
Posing for a picture in front of some of the downtown shops.
..

Brad got a little "hands-on" with some of the store items.

..

Weird place to pose for a picture, I know. I'm not sure what we were doing standing in front of a busy street, and why we thought it was a good time for a picture is beyond me!

..

Here's Brad and his dad entertaining themselves while we were on our tour bus.

..

Brad was trying to stay out of the sun because he got a really bad sunburn on his chest the day before. His legs look a little cherry colored as well!
..

I swear I wasn't posing... I didn't know he took this picture, I was just enjoying my day dreaming!

..

Here's a picture of Magen's beach which is where we spent the day! It was beautiful, but pretty crowded over there.

..

Another view of the Magen's beach.

..

What a happy bunch of people!

..

Towards the end of the day we took a little tramway up to the top of the mountain and watched the sunset. The pictures really don't do justice to the view we had from up there. It was gorgeous!
..

Look at this stud I found while I was there!

..

Another view from the top!

..

We had a lot of fun with Brad's parents, and we're glad they went with us!

..

As you can see, we weren't the only people coming to the Virgin Islands that day! Our ship was the one on the end which is partially covered by my head.

Fun Towel Creatures!

For those of you who have been on a cruise before, these pictures will bring back memories! Each night when we're away from the room, our steward comes and turns down our bed, turns on the lamps, and leaves us a little towel animal. On our first cruise we took pictures with each animal so we decided we had to carry on the tradition!

..
Brad's crazy eyes! I think the animal was a snake, but now that I look at the picture I'm not too sure.
..

I really didn't want to be in this picture because I had wet hair and no makeup on. Brad really wanted me in there so we compromised - I'm in there! And so is the elephant!

..

Little pig, little pig...

..

I'm actually not sure what this one is. What does it look like to you?

..

Here's the seal!

..

Again, not too sure... this one's kinda freaky!

..

This one was supposed to be a rabbit, but its ears were twisted together and we couldn't figure it out at first.
