All Dressed Up and Ready for Church

This is the first shot I took, and it ended up being the most poised one.... they just got crazier from here on out. I swear, it is impossible to get all three looking and smiling at the same time.
This one has to be my favorite of all... Bentley's pose... Olivia's laughing... Eden still posing adorably while sticking out her tongue.

I'm not sure why Bentley was making weird faces in every picture from here on out...

Oh these kids.... killing me with cuteness.

Brad's 35th Birthday!

This year marked another great birthday for our favorite guy. He took the day off work so that morning, we dropped the kids off at the co-op babysitting group for a couple hours and went out to a nice brunch together.  That afternoon he took Bentley on a "bro-date" to see the movie "the Good Dinosaur". They had a fun time together, and Bentley was so excited to go all alone with daddy.

When she got home from school, Eden helped me finish making daddy's favorite chocolate cake.
For dinner, we had his favorite lasagna.
Check out the serious breath he is taking - those candles do look pretty intimidating I guess.

Presents get pretty boring when you turn 35...

The last present didn't disappoint though. I'm not sure who was more excited about the new Star
Wars figurines - Brad or Bentley.  :)

Happy 35th birthday to the best daddy and husband around. I hope he felt especially loved and appreciated on his special day.

Gingerbread Houses at School with Daddy

Eden brought home a paper from school talking about having a holiday party where they would be making gingerbread houses and parents were invited to come help their child.  I said, "Ooohh that sounds so fun! I can't wait." and she very sweetly replied.... "ummm, actually I was hoping daddy could come."  Awe, bummer for me! But so cute that she wanted to share this with her dad.  He rearranged some meetings and was able to make a house with her and see her classroom. She was so excited.

Oh Olivia...

How is it possible that one child can be so darn frustrating and then so adorably cute? I don't know... but this girl sure proves that it's possible. One minute I'm wondering who will survive out of the two of us, and the next minute I'm a puddle of goo because she has melted me with her funny antics and cuteness.  She keeps life interesting... that's for sure!

Snow Day!

So much fun!

Meeting Santa

We got to meet Santa at the ward Christmas party this year. The kids were very excited - except for Olivia - she was so nervous to even get close and she had quite the death grip on the back of my shirt.   :)

Eden's Family Night Lesson

Each week when we have family night, Eden likes to prepare a lesson of her own too. She does such a cute job, and usually I will take the topic she chooses and expound on it for them. This particular week, she came up with a great lesson about Jesus, complete with the props she gathered from the house. She had the scriptures, and told us that this is where we learn of these stories. She had baby Jesus in a manger, and told of his birth. Then she made a cross out of her craft sticks and talked about him dying for us, and then she had a cloth and a rock and talked about him being buried in the tomb and then the rock being moved when He was resurrected.  I was a very proud mom at that moment and super impressed that she came up with all these things on her own. She has such a sweet and simple testimony of Christ and I love that she knows so much of Him.
