Snow Day!

Back on the 4th of this month we woke up to a little snow again. As usual, Eden was so excited and wanted to go out to play as soon as possible. Bentley too wanted to be a part of it, but unfortunately he doesn't have good snow gear like Eden. I tried to get him to wear some of Eden's mittens, but he wouldn't go for it. I figured he wouldn't last long out there anyway though.

Another huge perk was that daddy was able to be home a little longer that morning before going in to work so it was so fun that he was able to play too. It was the perfect day for him to have a morning at home with us.

Eden asked for a carrot so she could use it for the nose of her snowman. I watched as she tried to roll a ball, but the snow was so powdery that before long she just made a sort of mound and stuck the carrot in it. This was her snowman! :)

She was then able to convince daddy to go help her build one that was a little bigger. They had a fun time and their little snowman turned out cute.

And then it happened - Bentley reached down to help build the snowman and realized that the snow was very cold. He was NOT happy about it!

We sure love the weather here! It's so fun to play in the snow one morning, and enjoy the park the next afternoon! :)
