My mom graciously agreed to watch our kids, including Olivia. For the week prior to the gala I started pumping and trying a bottle in the hopes she would do okay for my mom. She didn't end up eating too much, but she went to bed just fine so all was well at home while we enjoyed our evening out. It was really strange to be out without her, but also very liberating ha ha. Thanks mom!
We were able to sit with some fun friends from Brad's office.
The room was decorated so fancy and beautifully. Brad and another board member hosted a Broadway Show gameshow which was really fun. He looked so handsome up there and was totally smooth navigating through some technical difficulties.
Overall it was such a fun night. I'm grateful for the opportunity we have to do these types of activities.
