Now that Eden's trach is gone we will finally experience our first summer with swimming! Yay! So of course, we had to sign them up for the first round of swimming lessons of the summer. They were both very excited, but also a little nervous and definitely didn't want to put their heads under water. :)
Eden and Bentley got to be part of the same class, and we had some friends who were also taking the same lessons. Molly was in their class and Avery was in the level two class.
Magnolia and Olivia mostly stayed entertained on the sidelines.
They were both very serious about having their goggles, even though they never even got close to the water. ha ha
On one of the days after lessons, we met up with a bunch of other friends at the park next door to have a picnic lunch and then to go back into the pool for open swimming. While having lunch, one of the kids found a little toad, but nobody dared to catch it. I knew Eden was just the gal to do it! She was so excited and loved that the kids thought she was so brave for catching it and holding it so they could all get a better look.

Poor Olivia was exhausted and didn't really want anything to do with the pool. She kind of had a little cat nap and that seemed to hold her over a little longer.
Since swimming lessons have finished, we have been able to do a lot more swimming on our own and Eden now loves putting her head under water. Bentley still.... not so much. :)

I cannot overstate how happy I am about the swimming factor in our home. So good.
