It's been a few weeks since they caught tadpoles and they love watching them transform into frogs. This one Olive is holding almost looks like a lizard here because it has it's legs, but it also still has a tail.... weird!
They are starting to pile up on top of each other though so they need to be set free soon. They make a great temporary pet... Olive is especially fond of them and spends a lot of time with her hands in that bucket.
Eden got to go with daddy to set them free into the river. It's fun to catch them - fun to watch them grow and transform - and it's fun to set them free too.
Until next year, when our tadpole adventures start again.

Hopefully they didn’t get eaten within 2 minutes. They worked so hard to grow up.
