Karly

 Karly Rose - what a little cutie.  She makes us laugh every day with her silly antics and funny sass - but we have to make sure we are laughing WITH her, not at her.  Nothing makes Karly mad faster than feeling like someone is laughing at her.  But when she wants to be the center of attention, she definitely knows how to rock that!   

Karly loves to sing and dance, and she loves to eat anything sugary.   She loves to cuddle with me, and loves to get a bedtime story and to sing together "Baby Mine" from Dumbo.  Her hugs and snuggles are my favorite because she still clings around my neck so tightly.

She gets quite protective of her things.  I loved this note she put on the school room door when she was working on a project, "Do not enter or suffer!"  Nobody dared to enter and find out what the punishment would be.

She's starting to read more chapter books on her own, but her preference is still to listen to audiobooks.  Right now her favorite books to listen to are from the "Nanny Piggins" series.   I love this picture of her after she fell asleep reading.  So precious, and she looks so cozy.

Karly still loves to wear costumes and has a great imagination for pretend play.

She loves to get new notebooks or sketch pads and she keeps lots of lists about all kinds of things.  Here was one of her cute "to-do" lists.  I like #4 - "Add to wish list" because she is also really into her online Amazon wish list and makes sure to add more to it everyday in preparation for Christmas.  ha ha

Karly has lots of really good friends, but Jude is definitely her bestie.  These two love being together and come up with all kinds of funny games and antics.  I love that they like to play together all the time.

They also have no problem being physical and getting some good wrestling games in.  Today she seemed to be extra aggressive.  Kind of reminds me of Simba and Nala "Pinned ya again!"

Brielle is another of her closest friends and these two girls love to be like teenagers as much as they can.  They love to go into the movie room and dance to loud music and create shows to perform for us.

Karly is the baby and she loves it.  She wants to be treated like a teenager, but when it works out for her, she really loves to play the "baby card" to get lots of help and attention. ha ha   She is so much fun, so full of life and energy and we are so grateful she is in our family!
