Preschool Fieldtrip to the Pumpkin Patch
Karly got to go to the pumpkin patch again, this time as a field trip with her preschool class. She was so excited to be there with her teacher Ms. Megan and all her girl buddies!
Looks like the perfect day for any 4 year old. Karly had an absolute blast, and it's so cute to watch all these girls together. I'm not sure how Megan ended up with a class of only girls, but it sure is cute to watch them all together. Karly loves every minute of preschool and she is learning so much too! Thanks Ms. Megan!
Karly and Janie
We love living nextdoor to the Peck family. Karly has really enjoyed having her buddy Janie at the ready for a play date. These two go to preschool together on Tuesdays and Thursdays and it always entends into a playdate for most the day after school. Having all her siblings at school, Karly gets pretty bored with me so we are both grateful for Janie!

Dinner with the grandparents
Since moving into our new houses, we have started settling into a good dinner routine here. It's been so much fun having dinner with grandma and grandpa most nights of the week. Grandma takes a couple turns to cook, I take a few, and then we eat out on the weekend. It's been a win-win all around and we love having the extra voices for the dinner time discussions. What a blessing to live nextdoor to grandparents!

The Sister Spa
Eden has some pretty amazing homemade (and organic!) facial masks that she has created. It was the sisters lucky day to attend Eden's Day Spa and get a delicious smelling banana and honey face mask. After their mask was complete and washed, they next got makeup and nail polish. It was quite a treat!
Bentley was curious for a bit, and especially intrigued watching Eden smear smashed food on the little ones faces, but then he decided spa's are pretty boring. Don't worry Bentley, they will be wrestling with you again soon enough.
Come Follow Me Lessons
This year we have been trying really hard to do our family scripture study and the "Come Follow Me" program. Sometimes we do great, and have costumes and everything, sometimes we just get the minimum discussions and verses read, and sometimes we miss completely. But we are trying, and that's what counts!!
Bentley's face in this picture is so precious.

Referee of the Game!
Ok, it's not a great photo - but for documentation's sake, I do want to remember this season of soccer when I volunteered to be the referee for Bentley's home games. It's been so much fun, but also a little surprising how frustrating it is to have parents yell at me for making certain calls. It's crazy how intense some parents get about these 6-7 year olds and their soccer games! The other downside of being the ref is that I can't high five Bentley and cheer for him when he does something awesome - which happens a lot. :)
Have I mentioned before how much I love watching him play?! This is all so fun. Well done Bentley!
Galloping Goat Pumpkin Patch
Going to this pumpkin patch is a tradition for us! When I had very small toddlers and babies, my friends and I would spend hours here visiting, multiple times during the month, while the kids would play. Now that the kids are getting bigger, it's still something we find ourselves doing, except we usually only go once. :) This year they had some fun new additions with a big "playhouse" station. Each building was a different type of office or shop and all the kids played in these for a long time. And, as usual, the goats were a hit and gave us a lot of good laughs. Rememvber that time when we got two baby pigmy goats that lived in our backyard?! What a crazy idea....
Thanks for the fun at the pumpkin patch! Halloween season wouldn't feel the same without you!
