Today's special friend was a very big, and very fast moving praying mantis. Bentley was holding it and within seconds it went from sitting nicely on his hand to bolting up his arm, around his back and up over his head. Bentley was definitely a little unsettled, but waited patiently for Eden to come to his rescue. Olive only held it for a second before flinging it away as soon as she saw it move. She wasn't going to let that thing go for a tour over her like it did to Bentley. And then cute little Karly, Eden was so encouraging and good to her. She let it sit on her hand too but quickly gave it back.
I love watching these kids explore and interact. Being a mom really is the coolest.
