The Amazing Balloon Fiesta!

The week of Balloon Fiesta is by far my favorite week of the year.  The weather is beautiful and the sky is filled with so many colorful balloons every day.  We love the view from our balcony every morning, and seeing them all over in the sky as we are driving to run errands or go to school.  Balloons are everywhere and it makes me so happy!

This year we were able to join grandma and grandpa in the VIP tent to have some breakfast before the balloons began to launch.  We definitely felt spoiled!  It was a very early morning wake-up for these kids but they were so excited!

The kids loved wondering through the field, collecting balloon cards and even meeting fun characters.

I love being at the balloon fiesta with a newbie.  Karly was totally amazed and mesmerized.  She was so cute and fun.

Daddy was very excited to see the Darth Vader and Yoda balloons.

It ended up being the perfect morning to be there.  The weather was beautiful and we were shedding layers because we were getting toasty!  Hundreds of balloons were able to go up and it was gorgeous!
