Bentley sleeping on the floor

This guy is so funny. I swear we put him to bed at night like a normal child, with a story and a good tuck in, but he very rarely actually sleeps in his bed. We have found him in various rooms on the floor.

This one in the tiny space behind the chair was extra ingenious on his part. I actually had a hard time finding him this time, and it was even more tricky getting him out and keeping him asleep. He is a very good hide and seek player but only if he doesn't know that he is playing.
Cute boy.

Drive in Movie

The kids thought it was pretty cool to decorate 'cars' and go to the movie room to watch the movie "Cars." I remember doing this as a kid - fun times!
I don't know why these last two pictures keep uploading sideways. Nothing I do will fix it! My time frame for working is very limited so whatever.... sideways it is.

Splash Park, Hoots, and more Cliff's!

Summertime is the best. I love all the fun adventures we get to go on.

We were able to go play at the splash pad with Kally and her kids, and Grandma who brought Kadence, Sophie and Jack. The kids had a blast and Eden loved splashing around in her rain boots.
I love that Lincoln and Eden hold hands. So cute.

Despite being really hot, Olivia took a little cat nap while the other kids played.

We've also had fun at Hoots where the kids can run, jump and explore for a few hours.

And again, Olivia was forced to take her nap in the stroller. It's a good thing she is such a good baby!

We've also had a few more fun afternoons at Cliff's. It's so nice having Brad with us. :)

Olivia - 4 Months!

Weight: 16 pounds 1 ounce - 86th percentile
Length: 26 inches - 88th percentile
Head Circumference: 17 inches - 95th percentile
I call her "squishy" because it is the perfect word to describe her. She is so cuddly and just molds right in to me when I hold her. It's the best thing ever. I can't stop kissing her cheeks and pinching her little chubby legs. She's a big baby, and I love it!

Olivia has discovered her voice and is very chatty. She makes really funny, loud sounds a lot and I'm already having to walk the halls with her at church. She isn't sad or crying, she is just loud! It's really cute though. I cherish these noises because with Eden I missed hearing baby noises so I don't take it for granted.

She is also laughing now. Usually it's best when she is getting tired, but then she also turns very quickly to being sad - ha ha. I love her little giggles.

Her eyes seem like they are starting to change from blue to a greenish/gray/blue color, which is very similar to what Bentley's did. It will be interesting to see what color they end up being.

Right before leaving for church I decided I'd take a few pictures and it literally only took two minutes and I got all these beauties. I couldn't decide which one was my favorite so here are lots of my precious, happy girl. If only all three of my kids could be this cooperative with the camera at the same time. :)
She is so incredibly adorable. It's so easy to get her to smile. If you make eye contact you're sure to get a big cheesy grin! I love how she wrinkles up her nose and her eyes totally turn into the shape of rainbows.

She still enjoys the swing but she just can't seem to relax in there anymore. She always has her neck strained to keep up that big round head. She's clearly happy about it though.

Her siblings still absolutely adore her and love that she smiles and laughs at them. Bentley especially still asks to hold her a lot.

She is starting to get a lot more coordinated and can grab at her toys now which is fun.

She is an amazing sleeper. She goes to bed around 9pm and sleeps through until between 7 and 8 am. It's amazing. She puts herself to sleep so I have to be careful if I leave her on the floor while holding her off until nap time. Little cutie.

She is the absolute best baby. She is so happy and chill and is content to be dragged around all day long. I love her so much and am so grateful she is mine!

Funny Things They Say

I was helping Bentley put on his swimsuit bottoms and we were having trouble getting his foot through the net underwear and when it finally came out he grabbed his foot and while shaking it he said, "oh hi foot, hi foot - it's nice to meet you!"

I was trying to get Eden to go into the kitchen for lunch, but she was insisting she needed to hear a song on the computer first. So I got the song going and she started dancing around like crazy, and the following conversation transpired:

ME: "Eden, for lunch do you want a sandwich, quesadilla, or mac n cheese?"
Eden: No response, just dancing.
ME: "Tell me what you'd like for lunch and I'll get it ready while you're dancing. Eden... hello?"
Eden: "Sorry, what did you say? I didn't listen because all I hear is this super fun music."

Bentley's prayer at family night:

"Heavenly Father... thank you blessings, thank you family, thank you mom, and daddy, and thank you Bean (his blankie), and piano, and be nice, and no fighting. Jesus Christ, amen."

I put the sprinkler under the trampoline for the first time this summer and the kids were jumping and laughing. Bentley was so excited and incredibly happy and through his giggles he said, "Yay! Happy birthday to me mom!"

Eden came from her craft room and to show me the ring she made with a pipe cleaner. I said, "Oh Eden that's beautiful and so creative!" And she said, "Thanks mom, maybe you should put it on Pinterest!"
