Every year for the the final couple weeks of school, the kids focus on a fun performing arts unit and each of the classes put on some sort of play, dance, or performance of some kind. This year, Eden's class wrote their own play using characters from the "Despicable Me" movies. She auditioned for one of the main roles and got the part. She worked hard to memorize her lines and did such a good job performing in front of a large audience. I was so proud of her!
She was so confident and adorable up there! And she remembered all her lines. :)
The play overall was a little confusing, it was written by 4th and 5th graders after all, but it was obvious that they had a blast putting it together and performing it for all their families. All those kids were so giddy.
Well done little star Eden! You rocked it up there!

They did a great job. There were decent portions of the play where they were having a lot of fun and I wasn't totally sure what was happening, but it was awesome.
